sipping tea in the late afternoon, sitting under a weeping willow, dreaming of rabbits who talk about the afterlife, watching the sun set over the ocean, looking up quotes to stimulate my senses, shooing dragonflies from my mind, soft whispers, giggles that sound like the tinkling of wind through a chandelier.. reading, thinking, and talking...
Between the film Cabaret and the Owl and the Pussycat, both of which I saw as a child in the Theater at age 7, with dad, no wonder, I'm kind of... goofy...
Mein Herr is only one of my favorite songs of all time by one of my favorite ladies of all time. The movie (which I happily own) pretty much kicks ass, too. Must confess I've never seen te owl and the pussycat, but might have to now.
I know it seems like two totally different kinds of films. So liking one might not mean liking the other. I only relate them together because one I saw them near the same time when they first came out In the theatre, at age 7, and two they really seemed to register to me creativily, artistically and sexually. Barbara is at her best with George Segal. I encourage you to see it! I need to see it again, it's been too long! Xxoo s
"The adventures first… explanations take such a dreadful time."
"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" - alice
