Roman Polanski, the director of some of my favorite films – such as Tess, The Fearless Vampire Killers, Repulsion, China Town, Rosemary's baby – has directed a short film for Francesco Vezzoli's project Greed. It's a faux ad campaign for an imagined perfume. Featuring Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams in a battle over the scent.
The "campaign" makes fun of the hype that is created over the kind of promotion of these types of high priced, over marketed items. It premiered at the Gagosian Gallery in Rome, and now you can visit it online at Dazed Digital.
